Announcement School Closure Update

Announcement School Closure Update

Today, Gov. Greg Abbott announced an executive order requiring all public schools in Texas to remain closed through Friday, April 3, in order to help prevent the possible spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
Accordingly, Harmony will extend its closures at all campuses and offices statewide through April 3. As of now, the new return date for schools and administrative offices is Monday, April 6 for staff and Tuesday, April 7 for students.
During the extended closure, Harmony will continue to offer free breakfasts and lunches each weekday. Additionally, we continue to ask students to continue studying their academic packet, which will be collected by their teacher upon their return to school.
Finally – and perhaps most importantly – we would like to thank all of you for all you are doing to help your schools, students, and fellow team members during the closure. The COVID-19 outbreak is without a doubt one of the most unique challenges we have ever faced as a team of educators. It is thanks to your dedication that our schools are still able to provide for the academic, physical, and emotional needs of our students during this crisis. Without you, this would not be possible.
We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.
Wishing you and your family the best,
