Parent Teacher Conferences Student Holiday

Monday, October 8th, is a student holiday.  Parent teacher conferences will be held on this same day from 2:00PM – 6:00PM.  We hope that you can make it out.

Flu Clinic

Flu Clinic October 19th 11:00am-1:00pm Library

We are partnering up with CVS Pharmacy to host a Flu Clinic in the library on Friday, October 19th, from 11:00am – 1:00pm for our HSISA staff, students and families (flu vaccines are for ages 7 and up).  The sign-up sheet and consent forms are in the front office.  Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity – all consent forms should be returned to the front office (click below for English or Spanish consent forms).

Basic Reading Skills at Home—Make and Take Training

Join us for a fun, interactive and crafty training designed to guide you through creating engaging activities to support your child’s acquisition of basic reading skills. We will focus on the development of print concepts, phonemic awareness and phonics skills.  This training is appropriate for parents with students in any grade level that require remediation for independent decoding. All materials will be provided.

Gifted And Talented Family Night

Gifted And Talented Family Night

We invite you to join us for our Gifted and Talented Family Night on Thursday, September 27th, at 4:30PM in the 3rd floor cafeteria. We will discuss the upcoming school year: fund raising, PBLs, and field trip suggestions — snacks will be provided on this night.

Lunch applications will expire October 1, 2018 if a 2018-2019 lunch application has not been submitted yet.  Parents are responsible to submit an application before this date.  Expired applications will be changed automatically to PAID October 1st 2018 and the student will loose benefits.

We hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer!  We are so glad you will be a part of our Harmony School of Innovation family this upcoming school year.  Please find the student orientation dates below:

Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th

9:00 AM  to  4:00 PM

Pre-K through 8th Grade Student Orientation

During the orientation: you will visit different stations, have the opportunity to complete required school forms and meet HSI-SA faculty.

The following items will be available for purchase in the front office during orientation:

  • Uniform tops will be on sale (per family): 1 to 2 shirts — $15 each, 3 to 5 shirts — $12 each, 6+ shirts — $10 each.
  • School spirit shirts will be on clearance for $5.
  • School jackets will be on sale for $20.
  • Student ID badges are $5 (badges will be provided after school begins).
  • Student planners are $5 (all PK – 5th grade students are required to purchase a planner for the 2018-2019 school year).

Uniform shirts will be available for purchase during orientation.  The prices per family are as follows: 1 to 2 shirts — $15 each, 3 to 5 shirts — $12 each, 6+ shirts — $10 each.  For long sleeve shirts, add $2 each.  We also have jackets for $20.
