April 7th (Thurs): Dress Your Fiesta Best – Wear your best Fiesta clothes

April 8th (Fri): Student & Staff Holiday

We invite our HSI Lobos to wear a blue shirt with blue jeans on Friday, April 1st, in recognition of World Autism Awareness Day which is on April 2nd.  This day seeks to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and improve the lives of those currently living with autism.  That is why we wear blue on this day.

Harmony Team Walk Siclovia March 27th

Hello HSI Families,

Catch our Harmony Team at Siclovia on Sunday, March 27th. We will be out and about with the community playing in the streets.

If you would like to join us we will meet at S. Flores (H-E-B) at 9:30 and make our way towards Roosevelt Park. You are welcome to walk with us for a short while and then enjoy the event with your family. There will be activities for youth, treats for pets, food trucks and so much more.

**Please dress for warm/hot weather and be sure to stay hydrated.

Siclovia is from 10a – 2p. We hope to see you there!

Friday, March 11th, is a Student Holiday and District Staff PD.  The following week, March 14-18, is Spring Break.  Classes will resume on Monday, March 21st. We hope that everyone has a fun, safe and enjoyable break!

Join us in celebrating Dr. Seuss by participating in the following spirit dress days:

Tuesday (Mar 1): “Green Eggs & Ham” – Wear a green shirt with jeans
Wednesday (Mar 2): Favorite Character Day – Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character (Thing 1/Thing 2, Dr. Seuss, etc.).  Parade at 8:30 (see below for more info).
Thursday (Mar 3): “Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?” – Wear animal print shirt and/or pants (jeans okay)
Friday (Mar 4):Oh the Places You’ll Go” – Dress up in attire from your “real life” career of choice

Parents/Guardians – you are invited to our Favorite Dr. Seuss Character Parade that will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 8:30.  Please plan to arrive early as gates will close by 8:05.  You may stand along the parked cars in the parking lot – the parade will run from the cafeteria doors to the gym.
