Dear HSI families,

Below is the link to the letter regarding our campus plan for in person learning beginning September 21st. Thank you

On September 10th and 24th we will have a fundraiser event for students & staff called Pajammin For Kids With Cancer.
To participate, students and staff can donate online in the following ways:
1.  Donate $5 to participate in 1 day (wear pj’s on either Sept. 10th or 24th)
2.  Donate $10 and wear pj’s on both days
3.  Donate more than $10 and wear pj’s on both days
All pajamas need to be dress code appropriate (no spaghetti straps, midriff showing, short pj shorts, short pj dresses, etc).  Please refer to page 19 in the handbook.

Dear HSI families and staff,

Are you wanting to get more involved or just to be in the loop of what is going on in PTO – then sign up to join! Like everything else this year, PTO is going to be held virtually AND there will be no membership fees to join.

Want to know how to sign up to become a member?!?  All you need to do is send PTO an email at with your name, title (if HSI staff) and email address.  The first meeting will be held September 8th at 6:00.  A Zoom link will be sent to all who have reached out to PTO.  If you have any questions, then please feel free to reach out to them by email.

Encouraging students to read more improves their skills and promotes a love of reading they can continue throughout their educational years and into adulthood.

That’s why Harmony Public Schools is hosting a fall Reading Challenge for all students in all campuses.

Join your classmates from across your campus and across the state from Monday, September 21, 2020 though Sunday, January 3, 2021 as together we show our love for reading and discover new and exciting ideas, authors, and stories through our favorite books.

Along the way, we’ll recognize our top readers and campuses each month, share favorite book picks, and ask for your reviews on some of your favorite reads.

Dear HSI Families:

Please join us on Thursday, September 10th, at 4:10 for our Virtual Club Fair.  During this event, we will have a short welcome and then you will have the opportunity to visit the sponsor of the club that your student is interested in joining to obtain more information about the club.


There will be two sessions during this event in case you miss the first session or if you would like to get information on more than one club.  The link for the club fair and session schedule will be shared on Dojo and through email.

You Are Invited To Grandparents Breakfast Friday, Sept 4th 8:00 Will Be Held Virtually

HSI grandparents, families and staff members:

Please make plans to join us and help celebrate our HSI grandparents at the Virtual Grandparents Breakfast that will be held Friday, September 4th, at 8:00am where we will enjoy breakfast together virtually (from the comforts of our own homes/workplace). During this event, you can expect to have your hearts warmed with special poems read by a couple of our students and watch a slideshow that features pictures sent in of our very own HSI grandparents. All HSI students and staff are welcome to attend and help us celebrate too. The Zoom link invitation was shared on Dojo and will be shared by email. Please make sure to share the link with your grandparents so that they can join us too – after-all, this is about them 🙂

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for kindergarten and newly- enrolled students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening.  Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may refer them for assessment.
